Urban Archives

I thought I would pass this along, Ashley reminded me last night that a good source of info on mid-century Philadelphia was at the Urban Archives at Temple. I thought this might be helpful for the ethnographic/urban morphology work which I would be happy to assist with since it might have pictures and other material relating to East Falls, Allegheny West, and Strawberry Mansion that repositories like the Library Company don't really cover.

typical

John being John as soon as I said "look John the blog is up" he said " ohhh I don't like blogs anyway" gotta love it!

Get on here John, this was all for you!!!

LHC and such

Hooray for blogs. Where's John? If he was the one pushing for this, shouldn't he be posting like mad?

oops

Ok sorry for the confusion getting everyone on as a contributor and for the confusion of the last post asking for maps and pictures to be posted here, just forget I said that, but if you find a good map or picture and put it in the course folder it might be good to post that on here to let people know its there......

Ok no more confusion , I promise!

First Enrty

Well in response to John Nelson's constant urging we have created a blog for our group. When any of us find articles, maps or other important information please post it here for all of us to see.

Hopefully this will help keep our communication open and accessible for all.

Blog away group!
